Two Buffalo-area Entrepreneurs Launch New Construction Company

Buffalo, N.Y., August 28, 2007 – Paul McAfee and Suzanne Witnauer launched a new construction firm named Aduo, Inc., this week.The new company offers construction management and construction related services.Aduo initially will concentrate on Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital bids that are procured from Service Disabled Veterans.
Aduo, Inc.’s president and co-founder, Paul McAfee, has led efforts resulting in dramatic business improvements for Fortune 500 clients.Prior to co-founding Aduo, Paul held senior executive positions at Danaher, Eastman Kodak Company, Ciba-Geigy, and Sprint.
Paul is skilled in developing and implementing and managing business strategies.Paul serves as a pro bono entrepreneur-in-residence at the State University of New York’s University at Buffalo Technology Incubator.He recently completed three years as a pro bono entrepreneur-in-residence at the University of Rochester’s Office of Technology Transfer. Paul graduated with an MBA in 1995 from the University of Rochester William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration. He received his BA from the University of Maryland in 1974.
Paul served in US Army from 1968 to 1971. He served in a combat engineering unit in Pleiku, Vietnam, from 1969 to 1970. He subsequently served in a self propelled artillery unit in Hanau, Germany, from 1970 to 1971. Paul took his discharge in Germany and traveled throughout Europe for three months before returning home to complete his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland.
